The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic School District is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, approximately 200 km east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Our international schools are in two small safe cities located in Belleville (population 50,000) and Kingston (population 120,000).
We offer an excellent university or college bound secondary school program. This is for students 14 to 18 years of age and leads to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students may begin the program either in February or September. You can come for one semester (5 months), one year or until the completion of Secondary School.
The percentage of international students is less than 2% of our population of students. This allows for a true Canadian cultural experience while studying in one of our secondary schools.
During the school year the student lives with a Canadian homestay family, which is monitored by the Homestay Supervisor. A private room, three meals a day and access to the home’s facilities are provided. The student will enjoy the security and care of life with a Canadian family.
English as a second language is offered in two of our secondary schools. The length of the course adapts to the needs of student. We invite you to “COME STUDY WITH US” in a safe, reliable, exciting and academically challenging school!
